Your email content is what keeps your readers subscribed to your email newsletter, so you want it to be not just another marketing email. The key to building your subscribers is to create a relationship with them and that can be done via the tone of the email content.
Perhaps one of the easiest methods of writing great email content is to write it as if you were writing to a friend. Avoid using language that will confuse or alienate your readers and just write with a friendly tone. People enjoy hearing from a friend and if this is how you write your email content, you can be sure they will enjoy reading your email newsletters.
However, you do need to be careful here. While slang and misspelled words might be fine for a quick note to your buddy, it simply won´t cut it for a business email. Using a spell checker is the best way to avoid offending people or coming across as sloppy. Spelling mistakes throughout email content tend to give the impression that you don´t care too much about your email newsletter.
Writing great email content that helps build a relationship with your readers is the best way to keep your subscribers and continue to grow your opt-in list.
