Writing Email Content to Involve Readers

When email content gets readers involved, you can bet they´ll stay involved and keep returning. There are several ways to get your subscribers to be active readers, and to participate in your emails. Once they start doing this, you can expect to see a boost in sales, as well.
How to Get Readers Involved in Email Content
- Hold a contest. Any kind of contest will do. Require either an email, a visit to your site, or a blog post for qualification and give something decent away in order to catch people´s attention and get them interested in your email. The response will also let you know how many people are actively participating in your email content.
- Ask questions. Put a question out to your subscriber community and use the best answers as email content, along with links to their websites. This is often a very popular method of getting readers involved . . . everyone likes to be helpful.
- Answer questions. On the flip side of the coin, you can have your readers email their most pressing concerns and then answer them in the email. This has the added advantage of making you an expert in your field.
Getting your subscribers to actively participate in your email content pretty much guarantees higher open rates and you´ll also find that they are far more likely to trust you. Trust, as we all know, leads to sales. So it´s a good idea to build up an active readership whenever possible.

Start your email with a nice worm, pleasant welcome. Tell them a little bit about your own day and ask them how their day was. This demonstrates to your readers that you are a genuine person and that you care about them.
