It is no surprise that consumer spending is down and will continue to stay down for unknown period of time. It will take everything you got as a company to get people to pull out their credit cards and buy right now. Now is the time to blow the dust of your email list and really put some promotions together and get them out their in your email campaign.

People will still buy holiday gifts, they are just going to do it carefully. Right now the mass public are looking for deals. They want to get good product and save money. It is in your best interest to push that product even if it is at a reduced cost otherwise it might just sit there on your shelves through the new year. This is the time of year that people are waiting to be offered deals. If your emails offer savings, recipients will not be inclined to hit the unsubscribe button. Right now many people across the globe are looking to save money and they will probably let your email in with open arms. With the holiday’s right around the corner it will be important to be able to emphasize what savings customers have by buying from you. If you have not taken advantage of your email list in the past now is the time. Sending out an email once per week from now until the holidays offering promotions and coupon codes will help stimulate some business into your company. Email campaigns when done right can be very powerful means of communication and now is the time to really utilize them.

When spending dollars are down people really seek out information and help and by showing exactly how your product or service can help them. By connecting with that person you are more likely to have them respond in a positive fashion to your email campaign.
