Are you ready?
Is your email program ready for 2025?!
Welcome to 2025!
Wow, time is flying! It feels like just yesterday that Yahoogle brought down the email authentication hammer, and here we are nearly 1 year after the go-live date.
Here where I live in South Africa, it is summer, and wow, it is a scorcher! I live in a small coastal town, and our humidity is through the roof. While I am working on getting this latest edition out to you, I have a team installing ACs in every room. We can’t breathe it is so hot. It's NOT fun, but we can cool down properly in a few hours! 🥵
Because of all the work going on today, this intro is shorter than usual. Next week, I will be much cooler, quieter, and able to write a proper introduction 🤪
I hope you’re comfortable, temperature-wise, where you are!
Cheers

What’s in Store for Email Marketers in 2025? - Only InfluencersEmail's not going anywhere, folks. Tom Wozniak predicts a 2025 where email marketing flourishes amidst tighter regulations on other channels. AI's the new director in town, revolutionizing video content in emails with ease and sass. Meanwhile, AI's also gatekeeping your inbox, summarizing and sorting like a boss. Privacy laws? They're multiplying, but don't hold your breath for a federal one. And personalization? More isn't always better. Marketers might just hit the sweet spot without breaking the bank. Stay tuned, and go easy on those Bears predictions, Tom. 🐻✉️🚀 |

Email File Size Limits and Attachment Restrictions - GlockAppsStruggling to send that hefty presentation via email? You're slamming into the digital world's version of "you can't fit a square peg in a round hole." Email services like Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo cap you at 20-25 MB to keep their servers sprightly and your bandwidth unburdened. Overstep the bounds, and you'll get cozy with error messages or, worse, ghosted by the recipient's server. Dodge the drama by compressing files, breaking them into bite-sized pieces, or embracing the cloud with a shareable link. Remember, MIME encoding inflates your files by about 30%, so pack light to ensure your message lands smoothly in inboxes. Keep it sleek, quick, and mobile-friendly—your email's waistline and your recipients will thank you. |
